Kids at the 2008 Home Show

Bring your little future home-builder to the 2008 Black Hills Home Builders Association Home Show. There will be activities and giveaways for kids such as toy hard hats (while supplies last), courtesy of the Black Hills Home Builders Association.

Fishing Contest
RecStation.net will be holding a kids fishing contest. All gear will be provided.

Coloring Station
Partnership for Humane Education will have a coloring station set up for kids. They will also be handing out animal stickers and tattoos.

Jr. Edition of Parade of Homes - Let your child display his or her builder skills!
Kids can build a home out of any material they choose and enter the home model into a contest. Entries will be taken starting at 8am Tuesday, March 25th and no later than 8pm on Thursday, March 27th, 2008 at the Home Show office at the Rushmore Plaza Civic Center. Houses are to be no larger than 2 feet by 2 feet and only one entry per child is allowed.

	The following age groups will be judged: 4 and under 5 to 7 8 to 10 11 to 13	Prizes will be awarded in each age group: 1st place receives a $250 savings bond, 2nd place relieves a $100 savings bond and 3rd place receives a $50 savings bond.
